Dr. Alvarez Connelly is recognized as one of the leading Pediatric Dermatologists in the country for more than half a decade and is Voluntary Associate Professor of Pediatric Dermatology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Board Certified Dermatologist Dr.Elizabeth Alvarez Connelly MD  Miami South Beach, FLDr. Elizabeth Alvarez Connelly is a leading pediatric dermatologist who has practiced in the South Florida community for more than half a decade. Currently she directs the Pediatric Dermatology clinics at the Greater Miami Skin and Laser Center and serves as a volunteer Associate Professor of dermatology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Dr. Connelly specializes in new technologies and treatments for dermatological conditions affecting infants children and adolescents. Her areas of expertise include vascular tumors including hemangiomas and malformations as well as their management and treatment including laser surgery. Other areas of interest include Atopic Dermatitis, Diaper Dermatitis and Vitiligo. Her extensive experience has earned her a national reputation for excellence and she is a frequent speaker at the American Academy of Dermatology and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. She is well regarded internationally having presented at conferences around the world. In 2007 she was elected by her peers for inclusion in the Best Doctors of America.
